Opening Prayer
There are many ways of reviewing the content which was taught to the children throughout the year. You could use a memory game, domino, bingo, questions and answers which would be hidden in the classroom or other activities. It depends on the spiritist teacher’s creativity and time available to develop the activity.
Here below you will find a collection of questions and answers which were used with 2nd cycle classes. The questions (left) were written down in a card. The related answer (right) was written in a different one. The entire set of cards was mixed and one card was given to each child. Each child would need to match their cards with each other (the question with the answer). We used, for this activity, cards with four different colours in order to make it easier for the children search for the appropriate match.
After the children find the right match, they should discuss the question and answer with one another. They could later on present it to the rest of the class. When they start presenting their Q&A, the spiritist teacher should try to involve the rest of the group by highlighting the answers and making sure everyone understands the significance of each definition. This class was very good and dynamic, since everyone had the opportunity to take part on it.
