Therefore, the festivities must have a spiritual nature; moving away from excesses of any kind. It should favour fraternity, kindness and the Master's teachings, so that Jesus is present in our hearts every day.

         Greetings and Opening prayer

First: question the children/adolescents; waiting for their answers but don’t clarify them yet.

What do we celebrate at Christmas?

          How does this celebration happen?

What is the best gift we can offer to Jesus?

Second: tell the story The Fourth Wise Men.

Third: dialogue to review the history along with the children/adolescents, getting them to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas based on the story ‘The Fourth Wise Men’, as well as on the resources for the spiritist teacher: It's Christmas! What do offer to the birthday boy?

         Fourth - activities:

Activity 1: The spiritist teacher will need to bring pictures, magazine clippings and drawings, related to the theme of the lesson. Assemble a presentation using cardboard or other material, along with the children/adolescents, to place it on the spiritist centre’s wall.

Note: The spiritist teacher will need to bring the rectangles with the affirmations to this class. He/she will also need to ask questions as they are preparing the poster. Dialogue with the children/adolescents so that they themselves give you answers. Get them to write them on the poster, stick figures on it or paint. Once the work is completed reflect with them on the importance of working together in the Harvest of Jesus. The poster can be displayed on the children/adolescents’ wall.

Activity 2: Distribute the drawings from the lesson Jesus’ Life to be coloured and/or assembled into a panel.

Activitye 3: assemble Jesus’ Family, taken from the lesson Jesus - kindergarten. Suggestion received from Marcia Silva (Spiritist Center ‘Espírita Perdão e Caridade’ – Lisbon - Portugal).
