Opening prayer
First: begin this lesson with the activity below, followed by the commitment agreement contract that should be filled by the children.

Second: remind them of the poster that is on our room door; ask them if they keep Jesus in their hearts.
Ask each child individually if they made efforts to improve/develop the virtue/attitude that they had pledged earlier this year, as written in the heart. Wait for their answers. Remind them then that Jesus may also be with them during the holidays; all they need to do is to keep Jesus in their hearts. Distribute a heart with the phrase written: "He who has Jesus in his heart is never alone." It could also be in the shape of a clothes-peg, a fridge magnet, a bookmark, etc...
Third: conclude stressing how special they are, that the Spiritist teachers will miss them and look forward to seeing them next year.
Closing prayer
Class suggested being suitable for: 2nd (9 to 10 years old) and 3rd cycles (11 to 12 years old).
