The value and action of a prayer

         Opening Prayer

Observation: the spiritist teacher should read previously "The Gospel According to Spiritism, chapter XXVII", as a resource for this class.

First: : with the help of a marionette, we should call the students’ attention to the topic which will be discussed in class. Please say to the children you have someone new who came to help us today. The helper (marionette) will talk so quickly the students won’t be able to understand it.

Please ask the children if they are able to understand what it said. Please repeat it one more time, but slower to enable the children to understand what the marionette is saying.

         Second - please question:

Why were you not able to understand the marionette the 1st time?

When were you able to understand the marionette? Why?

Should we value the times we spend talking to God?

What is need for us to get a good vibration for our prayer?

What is the act of praying?

Does God always listen to our prayers?

Does God always consider our prayers?

         Why should we pray daily?

Why should we pray for the suffering spirits?

         When should we pray?

(Please let the children talk about these questions.

Third: please build a collective text with the students about the prayer (please make sure each student make a note of the text created in their own notebook).
