Man’s Relationship with Nature


         First: Opening prayer - The Spiritist Volunteer will ask one child to read one topic of the “The Lord’s Prayer”.

         The Spiritist worker will introduce a box of prayer after the prayer and will ask for one child to volunteer himself/herself to read the prayer for the class. Please ask the child to say his/her words as well, as to complement the opening prayer.

         Second: Welcome the children into the session. Say how happy we are to see them there and how important they are for the class. Play hot potato game with the children. When the music stops the child who is holding the hot potato ball will be asked to say how they help the Mother Earth.

         Third: Sing songs together; get the children to remain standing but in a circle.

         Fourth: Conversation about God and Nature - The Spiritist Volunteer will bring a big world poster. Please also ask the kids a few questions:

         Who has created the World? Can you guess it? (Wait for their answers)
         I suppose it should be someone very clever and good. What do you thing?

         God, Our Father and Creator, is the origin of everything that exists in the universe. God is the supreme intelligence and the First Cause of all things and for that reason He created all the nature and offered to us to use and take care of them.

         God created us and everything surrounded us such as water, animals, air, soil, rain, plants, …
         Do you think we should give thanks to God for all this work?
         So, how can we do it? (Wait for their answers)

         Another idea: The Spiritist Volunteer can also bring pictures of nature and the kids can stick them on the world.


         Fifth: Activity - Prepare a big poster of the Planet Earth.

         Seventh: (7:00pm – 7:10pm): Activity: Prepare a paper hat and a sign which says Agent of Nature https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_tDKdXhv0g.


         Eighth: Show these videos to the children https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD8KfaGhd60 - This documentary is for children of all ages to understand why global warming happens and the way it impacts our planet, and how we can work together to stop it. This film speaks to children about the importance in helping Mother Earth by doing simple tasks, such as recycling;

         Ninth: Activity - Explain the kids the importance of Reduce, Re-use and Recycle. The Spiritist worker will bring some milk carton and the kids will prepare their own pen case.


         Tenth: Healing Theatre: Introduce our Special Guest of the day. Prepare the kids for the healing time and say that someone very important would come to join us today. The kids will have a time with the Spirit Benefactor who can either explain the importance of the healing for us or answer their questions.

         Eleventh: Preparation for closing prayer - Kids should choose a passage from the: Gospel According to the Spiritism for the kids, The Spirits Book for kids or the Heaven or Hell. The volunteer will encourage the others kids to volunteer themselves for reading and give a quickly comment about it.

         Twelfth: Closing prayer - One of the children will do a closing prayer; encourage the children to volunteer for this task. If they don’t want to collaborate we could say we will follow the letters of the alphabet. The child’s name that starts with the letter A will do the opening prayer this time. Everybody will have the chance to collaborate.

         Extra activity: Man and Relationship with the Nature.
