Jesus and Allan Kardec

         Greetings and Opening Prayer

First: remember the Comforter promised by Jesus. Spiritism, like Jesus, didn’t come to destroy the law, but help us to fulfil it through the Spiritist Pentateuch.

Divide the adolescents into groups, giving each group a few phrases of Jesus and the Spiritist Codification. Ask them to relate Jesus' sentences with those of Spiritism (similar to the proposed activity at the end of this class).

Second: Get the groups to present these phrases to each other. The spiritist teacher can take a poster with two columns written on it: Spiritism and Jesus. The groups can paste them in the correspondent column, as soon as the phrases are presented.

Note: Bring a copy of each of the basic Spiritist books to present to those who are not familiar with them. Although we are always working with the basic Spiritist books codified (organized) by Kardec, sometimes we have new members in the group who haven’t seen them before. It’s also a good opportunity for the adolescents to get into more contact with the books. Remember that Spiritism was dictated by superior Spirits to the mediums. Allan Kardec was the person who organised the teachings received.

Third: to reinforce the learning process, we suggest an individual written activity.
