Opening Prayer
First - technique using colourful cards: distribute cards with different colours to each child and ask each one to find a pencil with the same colour of the cards they have in their hands (please make sure you spread pencils around the classroom before the beginning of this class). As soon as they find the pencils, the spiritist teacher should talk to them about eyes and vision.
Second: please ask the children to close their eyes and tell the spiritist teacher what they see. The spiritist teacher should then hold a panel (it could be more than one, depending on the number of children) with a black and white landscape that will be coloured by them. The spiritist teacher could choose a picture that has people and nature on it. The children won’t see the panel, as their eyes are closed. Please ask them to open their eyes and tell what they see. It’s possible to see the world created by God with our eyes.

Third: split the children into groups; place the panel/s at the floor or above the table. Each child should paint the panel using the pencils they found around the classroom (group work).
The spiritist teacher could write, at the end of this activity, a phrase such as: "We use our eyes to see the world created by God". Glue this panel somewhere in the classroom.
