Spirit - the existence and survival IV
(Who am I? Am Spirit)

         Greetings and Opening Prayer

First: bring cards with slogans on the topic to be studied: the Spirit and the physical body.

         Suggested phrases:

I do not have a soul.

          I am a Spirit.

          I have a physical body.

          I am a physical body.

From reincarnation in reincarnation, I am learning everything I know.

Our physical body is the abode of our Spirit, so it should be very well looked after.

We take care of our body by eating too many sweets.

We take care of our body by eating fruits, vegetables, exercising, taking care of our hygiene.

When we die it’s only our physical body that dies; our spirit is still alive.

Birth, growth, death, rebirth; that is the law.

We thank God for the body we have, because it will make us evolve.

The Spirit is alive in the spiritual world.

The spiritist teacher must read or ask someone to read the sentences, asking if they are right or wrong. Ask questions, especially about the words in bold. Those statements that are wrong must be crossed with a huge X.

         Suggested questions:

Are we the body or the spirit? We are spirits and have a physical body. Soul is the way we call the Spirit when incarnate. The material body is temporary; the transient abode of the Spirit.

          Have we lived many lives?

Who lives several lives; the body or the Spirit?

What do you mean "from reincarnation to reincarnation, I learn? Me who? The body or spirit?

We learn qualities (humility, love, forgiveness, charity) and develop talents (music, art, math, dance) in the incarnations.

         Who dies?

Who is reborn? The same spirit; in another body.

What law is this? This is the law of reincarnation.

How do we take care of our body? Hygiene habits, physical exercise, no addictions, rest and sleep, healthy diet.

Why is the body home to the Spirit?

Who thanks for the body? The Spirit; because it needs to evolve through reincarnations.

Who will die? The physical body.

Who will thank? The spirit that is still alive.

What is beyond? The spiritual world.

the goal to be attained is to make children realize that WE ARE SPIRITS and WE HAVE A PHYSICAL BODY that we receive in each reincarnation.

         Second - activities:

1 - Distribute small pieces of coloured cardboard, so the children can illustrate the words and phrases related to the theme of the lesson. Paste the pictures into a single, large poster and exhibit at the Spiritist Centre. If the spiritist teacher can take coloured glue, glitter and coloured cotton to this class, this will help this work become even more enjoyable for the children.
