The big family

The big day has arrived! The day when Maria was going to live in Clara's house! Maria was adopted and Clara was really happy and excited! She couldn't stop thinking about Maria's arrival for weeks:

         - It will be so nice and fun to have a little sister to play together with me! - said Clara.

Clara had dreamt about Maria for many nights before. And she couldn’t forget one special dream with her guardian angel, who told her to take care of little Maria as her own sister, because she needed lots of love and that Maria was part of her family.

Although Clara was really happy, she started to get a little confused and decided to talk to her grandmother, Mrs. Flora.

         - Grandma Flora, Maria is not going to be my real sister, isn't she? She wasn't born in our family. Do you think I'm going to have things in common with her and like her like a sister? - asked Clara.

Grandma Flora, with her heart full of love and with the help of her guardian angel, then explained to Clara:

         - Clara, there are 2 types of families: the corporeal family and the spiritual one - said grandma.

Clara didn't understand at first and asked:

         - Grandma, I didn't understand, can you explain again, please?

         - Our corporeal family is the one that you already know, your mom, your dad, your grandfather, me... but we also have a much bigger family than this one... our spiritual family, which is formed by everyone we love and have things in common. The spiritual family gets bigger and bigger, because every time we are born again this family grows more and more, because we are learning to love more people every time we reincarnate.

         - Wow, now I understand Grandma Flora! So, Maria is not going to be part of my corporeal family, but she will be part of my spiritual family, right? - said Clara.

         - Yes, that's right Clara! We are going to receive Maria as another member of our big spiritual family, and one day, everybody from the world will love each other as brothers and sisters, like Jesus taught us. - said Grandma Flora.

Clara was very happy with what she learnt from grandma Flora and decided to prepare a delicious cake to welcome Maria as her new sister!
