We prepared a very simple game to gauge the youth group’s prior knowledge.

We divided the group into two teams. Each question mark represents a question that can be prepared by the spiritist teacher in accordance with the reality of your group as well as what you want to know about your group. We suggest the spiritist teacher prepares questions in accordance with the principles of Spiritism, but don’t lead to obvious answers (one example with an obvious answer would be: Is reincarnation possible?)
After that, the spiritist teacher could prepare a sheet with the Spiritist principles. The youth group would only need to write next to each principle: ‘I BELIEVE’, ‘I DON’T BELIEVE’, ‘I DON’T KNOW’ or ‘I HAVE QUESTIONS’. This research will help the spiritist teacher to know which topics he/she should give more emphasis in the work with the young people.
Suggested Class suitable for: Youth I (13 to 14 years old).
Suggested lesson received from: Carina Streda & Antonio Escobar.
Translation: Carolina von Scharten, London, linked to BUSS - The British Union of Spiritist Societies.
