Plurality of Inhabited Worlds

         Greetings and Opening Prayer

Lesson Objective: Lead the adolescents to conclude that we are not alone on this planet through the proposed dynamics, as well as understand the phrase Jesus said: "IN MY FATHER’S HOUSE ARE MANY MANSIONS".

First – suggested dynamic to be used: "Game of the Stars" (adapted from FEB handout).

The Spiritist teacher will assemble a solar system (only with the sun and the orbit around the sun; i.e., without the planets) on the board or cardboard.

Divide the class into 02 groups. Each group will answer one of the questions below alternatively. The group that gives a correct answer will win a point and be to place one of the planets in their right orbit.

Please note the eight planets that orbit the sun are (in order from the sun): Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune. If one of the teams places the planet they picked at the right place in order from the sun, they will earn an extra point. If they miss, the points will go to the other team and the planet won’t be placed in its correct orbit, waiting for teams to try again.

Second: the Spiritist teacher should ask the following questions once the proposed activity is concluded:

          a) What is the destination of the planet Earth?

          b) Where do the Spirits that communicate come from?

          c) What will happen to the people who don’t follow the evolution of the globe?

          d) What is the difference between erraticity and inhabited worlds?

Third: conclusion - after the debate (in regard to questions from the proposed theme), the adolescents should argue about the certainty of Christ’s message: "IN MY FATHER’S HOUSE ARE MANY MANSIONS". The adolescents might feel curious about the different types of worlds, which could be researched by the spiritist teacher and presented worked later in the form of a lesson.
