1. The adolescents should be divided into three groups; they will receive checks of different amounts: U$ 5,000.00; U$ 2,000.00; U$ 1,000.00 as well as a sheet with all the goods that will be auctioned.

         2. Each group will decide how much they will be willing to pay for each "good" and will write down their offerings in the budget column, according to their possibilities.

         3. The spiritist teacher will choose one of the "goods" and the auction will start.

         4. Each group will show their offer, previously discussed and written on the sign.

         5. The group that offers the highest amount for the "good" will own it; this group will then mark it in the purchased column.

         6. At the end of the game discuss the choices of "goods"; the meaning of the choices and other questions that may arise such as:

         – Did you reflect on the "goods" that were available to be bought?

         – Do you appreciate what you bought?


         Note: the spiritist teacher could create a fake ‘bank check’ to be used is this activity, adapted according to the one used in your current country.
