Activity

Write down each beatitude and its explanation on the back of each card. Number each card from 01 to 09 and put in box No. 01.

In a second box there should be placed cards numeradas de 01 a 11. Prepare 02 extra cards and write the numbers 10 and 11 on them. On the back of card No. 10 please write "Spiritist Teacher". On the back of card No. 11 please write "Adolescent". These two cards should be placed inside box No. 02

Ask them to sit in a circle and pass the box No. 01 so they can withdraw one beatitude each for them to study. Upon completion of the study, each card should be passed to the colleague sitting on their right side; so on until everyone has studied all the Beatitudes. The spiritist teacher must then retain the Beatitudes and place them back in the same box.

Then ask all adolescents to grab a number from box to No. 02. After everyone has taken a number, the spiritist teacher grabs one of the beatitudes from box No. 01.

For each correct explanation the adolescent will gain 20 points, if he/she doesn’t know how to explain, another adolescent explain it and win these points. He/she can also ask one colleague of his/her choice to help and then split the points.

If they withdraw card No. 10 from box, they must respond to a question asked by the spiritist teacher that will refer to one issue related to this class; this question is worth 50 points.

If they withdraw card No. 11 from box, the adolescent who withdrew it has the right to ask a question to a colleague he/she wants to answer (if he/she succeeds will win 30 points). The adolescent who asks the question must know how to explain the answer. If no one can answer the question and he/she answers correctly, 30 points will be won by this person.

It’s up to the spiritist teacher to award the top-rated adolescents. If this was agreed upon before the beginning of the activity, the spiritist teacher should hand the prize at the end of the game. Prizes should be distributed to all adolescents in the room; a larger amount should be given to the ones with the highest scores. Hence, the merit and effort of each individual will be valued, without de-meriting anyone

Note: Three cards nos. 10 and three cards nos. 11 could be placed in box no. 02, if the spiritist teacher wishes for.

          * The dynamics can also be worked in pairs.

          * The spiritist teacher may add any necessary comments every time one adolescent explains Beatitude, as some have very broad explanations.

Suggested questions to be asked by the spiritist teacher:

1 - What is to be blessed?

2 - Do Beatitudes reflect primarily internal or external changes? Justify your answer.

3 - Choose one beatitude and comment it; mention the reason you chose this one.
