Porcupine


         During the ice age, many animals died because of the cold. The porcupines realised the problem and decided to unite in groups, to warm up and protected each other. But their thorns were hurting each other. They then decided to move away from each other and began to freeze to death. So they had to make a choice: either they would accept the spines of their companions or disappear from the earth. They wisely decided to get back together. They learned to be more careful when approaching one another and to live with the small wounds that could be caused by one another, as the most important thing was the warmth of each other. And so the porcupines survived...
