The barber

"The atheist seeks to convince others to persuade him. God never does miracles to convince the atheists; his work will do."

A man was in the barbershop; the barber who was cutting his hair and shaving his beard.

Meanwhile, he talked to the barber about life and God.

A little later, the incredulous barber said:

         - Come on, God doesn’t exist!

         - Why is that?

         - Well, if God existed there would be fewer starving people! Look around you and see how much sadness there is in the world. Just walk the streets and see!

         - Well, this is your way of thinking, isn’t it?

         - Yes, it is!

The customer paid for the service. He was leaving the barbershop when he spotted a homeless person with long and ugly hair. His beard was quite long and dirty.

He decided to turn around and challenge the barber:

         - You know what? I don’t believe in the barbers!

         - How come?

         - Yes, if there were barbers in the world, there would be no one with long hair and long beards.

         - Well, they are in this state because they want to. If they wish to change, they should come up to me!

         - Got it now?
