The return of goodness

It was quite late at night. Tim and his friends were coming back from a party. They were in a group of eight boys, walking happily in the city centre of Santo Ângelo.

Suddenly, three adolescents came walking quickly towards them and shouted:

         - Stop! It’s a robbery!

The group of friends felt really scared and started to hand their watches to the robbers, as well as all the cash they had.

One of the robbers said when Tim handed them his mobile phone and his money:

         - No, don’t take anything from the chubby bloke! – He was referring to Tim, who was a bit chubby. Don’t take anything from him; he is the son of Auntie Carmen. Don’t hurt anyone!

         - Carmen who? – The other robber wanted to know.

         - Auntie Carmen, the one who helped preparing the soup and prayed with us every Saturday. She is a good person!

The group of friends had their belongings stolen, but Tim; all due to Auntie Carmen’s good attitudes. No one was hurt.

Soon later, he told his mom what happened. Carmen felt quite emotional when she realised the goodness practiced by her returned, helping her child in a very difficult moment.
