1 – Form a circle with all children standing up.

         2 – Please distribute to each child a balloon, a toothpick, a sweet and a piece of string.

         3 – Please ask them to air fill the balloon and tie it to the string. Please ask them to tie it to the back of their trousers’ waistband.

         4 – The toothpick should remain in one of their hands and the sweet on the other one.

         5 – The spiritist teacher should now say:

         “You now have five minutes. Whoever keeps your balloon without bursting it, can eat the sweet.”

         6 – It’s expected that the whole group tries to burst each others’ balloons. Therefore, this was not the instruction given to them. If they all remained in their places without bursting each others’ balloons, the entire class would be able to eat the sweet.

         7 – Please remind them that no one told them to burst each others’ balloons.
