The predictions of Jesus Christ’s coming

         Greeting and Opening Prayer

         Objective: To show young people that since ancient times humanity awaited the coming of the Saviour.

         First - suggested group dynamics: ask each one to write a short essay with the title: When I met Jesus and what he means to me.

         Second: Dialogue with young group, once this activity is completed. Ask them what life was like before Jesus, in their opinion. After the dialogue, inform them of ‘the prophecies and predictions of the coming of the Saviour’; that is, the events that brought hope and comfort to the people of that time. Use the following predictions to do this:
         - Exodus 13:46;
         - Isaiah 7:14, 11:1, 40:3, 42:14, 53:4-7;
         - Hosea 11:1;
         - Micah 5:2;
         - Zechariah 12:10, 13:7.

         While reading them, keep making comparisons between the readings, as well as the lifestyle of that time and the prophecies.

         Third: through the work that has been done, the young people should conclude that before the arrival of the Messiah there had already been predictions about his arrival as well as the goodness he would do to humanity.
